Appointment Information
Our open hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturdays
from 7:00 AM until 12:00 noon. Make your appointment by phoning Beacon
Women’s Center at 334-277-6212 or 800-321-2181. If it is necessary
for you to change or cancel your appointment, out of consideration of
others, please let us know as soon as possible.
Please read and follow the following instructions
carefully. They are important to your health and safety.
- Please call for your appointment at least 24 hours
in advance.
- You will need to bring a photo ID which includes
your birthday. If you are a minor you will need to bring the following:
your birth certificate, your social security card and your parent. Your
parent must be named on the birth certificate and must also bring their
photo ID.
- You may bring only your ID and fee into the facility:
no purses, bags, cell phones, books or beepers.
- You will be here for 3 - 4 hours.
- Please wear comfortable clothes and wear socks.
- At home you will need Aleve, sanitary pads and a
thermometer .
- If you choose to have twilight sedation or the Valium,
you will need a driver to take you home. If you would like to come alone,
you can choose the Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) for an extra fee.
- Only one guest per patient, please. No small children.
- Do not eat or drink anything 8 hours prior to your
appointment.
- If your blood type is negative there will be an
extra charge. Also, there is a charge for Mitrovalve Prolapse or related
heart conditions.
- Payment is cash, visa, or mastercard or debit. No
checks or money orders.
- Summit offers discounts for patients on Medicaid
